Amazon has started drone deliveries.

According to engadget amazon made its first deliveries using drones in the UK.

The article is talking about the altitude the drones fly at, 400ft, and the need to regulate that airspace for use only by drones. As a pilot that makes sense, but still scares me. When you are on approach you could still be miles away from the airport when you descend  through 500ft.

I am sure that it will be spelled out on the maps where drones can and can not fly, but when you are busy landing an airplane you don’t have that much time to make sure you crossed that imaginary line.

I guess all we can do for now is hope everyone stays on their sides.
